Caileen Designs is a full-service interior design firm that creates homes from concept to completion. Based in sunny Malibu California, our team has designed full new builds and renovation projects across the greater Los Angeles region. Throughout the years we have developed and refined a seamless “Think, Design, Do” process to help our clients navigate each step of their renovation journey. We collaborate with clients from the floor plan development, interior drawings, custom cabinetry, finishes, and selections: furniture, window treatments, styling, and turn-key installation.
Her Story
Caileen Uznis, Principal Designer, Founder
Caileen Uznis, is a service-oriented designer who thrives on helping her clients take the fear and hassle out of starting a remodel project. She has been featured on Houzz and has more than 10 years experience remodeling the homes and offices of successful executives and young families in Malibu, Pasadena, Long Beach and other Southern California cities.
After working for several leading high-end residential and hospitality firms, Caileen launched her own firm in 2012. It was in 2018 when she faced her toughest challenge. After living in her Malibu home for only two years, it was completely destroyed by the Woolsey Fire. She and her family immediately began rebuilding their dream home, testing her design skills and giving her a different perspective on the building process, an experience that she uses to further educate and service her clients.
Clients love that Caileen is organized and honest with a clearly defined and succinct process to help them design their homes, which allows them extra time and peace of mind they need to enjoy their busy lives. Caileen’s favorite part of the project is seeing her client’s first reaction to their new spaces and the excitement they have to show off their home to their friends and neighbors.
